I was right, the minimum this morning was -6.3. A bit less than the forecast of -4. It is currently -3.3 and starting to warm up as the sun has now risen. I haven't turned into an icicle, but my washing has. I decided that today was the day to do my washing, and the stuff that I hung out before sunrise went all stiff.
The toilets don't sound good, but the hotel does. You mentioned some of its features before and a I looked it up on the web. From what you say and what I read it looks to be pretty good and to be in a central area.
Yes, groups of children can make a lot of noise.
Bbbrrrr!! Poor old you!
ReplyDeleteToday heather and I went to princess islands on a one day tour. It was a nice lazy day and included a ride in a horse and cart to the other end of the island and a fish lunch. We were picked up from and dropped back to our hotels. A guy on the boat was selling citrus squeezer s six for five lira. We decided to get a packet between us, and then I sold one to the lady opposite for one lira, so I ended up with two for one and a half lira!
Tomorrow is my last full day here. Heather and I are going to get Chinese for tea. Then I will be winging back home. How are we going to meet up? Maybe you should give me your mobile phone number so I can ring from the airport. I guess I should ring you on Thursday morning to discuss it.
I have just had the best pide I have ever eaten. It was very very nice.
ReplyDeleteBy crikey! I think i might be increasing my reputation as a public nuisance soon. They are going to cut down all the trees in northbourne avenue to put in light rail.
