While I like Turkish Delight, there are other things I prefer - like Haigh's. And I'd assumed we could get herbs and spices from A1 Lebanese Bakery, or Ugur could tell us where to find them.
My car went in for a service today, so I had another adventure on the buses. Nothing outstanding, but my Senior's Card still works.

ReplyDeleteToday we visited sumela monastery. It rained and hailed after we had climbed up the track to it, and we were drowned rats as a result - especially ian, who has been sick for most of the tour. I asked him how many times he had visited the site and what percentage it had rained (it really looks like a place that rains a lot). The answer was every time. Given that, we should have been warned to bring our wet weather gear and he should have known to bring his. It was another fantastic place.
