The interlock between the door key or card and the lights has been common for a while - at least in the US and to some extent Australia. If it's 8 degrees you might need heating rather than air conditioning.
You don't need either here today. The temperature isn't too bad, but the wind is blowing strongly. We haven't had much rain, but Wollongong, Sydney and Newcastle have all been getting whopped.
This is the third day in a row on which we haven't had any letters!
At all other hotels the door locked when you closed it. At this one the door stays unlocked,so to lock it you are in the dark - which is stupid. The wifi reception here is the best we have had!
ReplyDeleteObviously dividend season is over. Nice heather told me her tablet wouldn't turn on. I held down the button for a long time and it started. I am a miracle worker!
Fortunately we visited the castle near Mount Ararat while it was sunny but soon afterwards the thunderstorm started and it rained most of the way. It seems fine this morning but there is going to be rain and thunderstorms over the next few days. Hopefully we will still have a good time.
ReplyDeleteThe castle yesterday was magnificent.
